I bought my first Double Pumper back in the early 70's. It was recommended by a speed shop owner who said I had to try it seeing as I had a 4 speed. That one was a 750cfm. He was right. The difference was absolutely amazing. My second one was a 650 spreadbore. Since then I've gone to a 600cfm DP and it does the job well. My vote would be for a Double Pumper, but then, what do I know.
