When it comes to the emission decal you need to make sure you have the label detailing the emissions system installed:
L48-DU
L82-DW
Hi.Alt.- DY
Calif.- WA
The main labels are approximately two inches x six inches with a silvery white background and black lettering.
Dont know how exact you want to be but the side cross flags on the fenders should have a white square in the top right corner. Later in the 78 production & 79 it changed to a black square. Dont know why.
Try googling some engine pics to help:

Centered on the left (driver's) side of the air cleaner base, is the "Keep Your GM Car All GM" label.
The emission/tune up label goes on the flat area of the firewall, above the master cylinder.
The AC compressor label goes on the top of the compressor, so that it can be read when facing toward the front of the car.
The overflow tank has a flat, black, plastic cap on it that gets a blue and white "Notice" label, that says "Engine Coolant Only" on it. There may also be an orange warning label on the tank. The warning label is placed on the curve of the tank, where it transitions from the top to the tank's side, and is to the right of the cap, just under the fender.
The master cylinder broadcast code label (either DM or YC), gets wrapped around one of the master cylinder bales.
There's a silver and blue "Harrison" label on the evaporator box, but I'm having a senior moment right now, and can't recall it's exact location. I think it gets installed vertically on the front of the evaporator box, but I'm not positive.
The wiper motor gets a white label with a date and part number, placed on the black plastic motor cover.
The jacking instructions go on the jack compartment door (the door behind the passenger seat). The jacking instructions are placed to the left (when the door is open) top, a little below the latch.
