Default Vintage Air Hoses Pics

Hey guys I’m installing the vintage air on my ‘74, which has been a little more of the difficult side. I’m looking at the diagram to measure and cut my hoses and was wondering if anyone has pictures of their vintage air lines plumbed and connected. I would Like to have a color picture to go with the directions if possible to put me in the ball park. I’m also running a R4 compressor. Thanks!

It’s difficult but just take it slow and it’s very doable. Which hoses are you referring to? The only thing I had to cut on my 69 were the vent hoses/tubes. Is that what you’re taking about?

I’m looking to get a basic overview of how the system is laid out instead of the paper instructions. Im stuck with the modified hose kit because of the R4 compressor so I need To cut 2 or 3 lengths of hose. Firewall to evaporator, drier to compressor and I think compressor to the firewall. I dont Have the instructions right non front of me but it think that’s it. I know I have 3 hoses that need crimping.

I have installed vintage air on my '81 which is probably different. It has the Sanden type compressor on the passenger side. I'll be glad to send you photos of my setup it if you think it will help.

Did you use the Alan Grove brackets to mount the compressor? That's what came in my kit. Or did you use the factory brackets.

Add some pictures if you can.

Im usuing a R4 compressor with the brackets for a later model GM serpentine kit. I wouldn’t mind if you’d post some pics.

It's not an R4 but it is a vintage air set up.
