I Put a new starter in my 74 and went to try it I had no power to the car. Put a tester on the battery, under draw it showed weak. I have no interior light or horn. Any ideas what to check next.

Your fusible links down by your starter can be messed up ...THUS...not supplying power to your fuse panel.

Do you have a wiring diagram?????

Did you have a starting problem before you replaced the old starter?
If not, re check all connections.
Did you disconnect the positive and negative cables from the battery before you swapped the starters?
Check all fuses and relays to make sure you did not blow anything.

I went back over the ground wires and cleaned them better and all is good. It started just fine. I need to pay better attention to the little things. Thanks for your reply. Sportster.
