Default Springs - CC or VB&P?

Looking at replacing my rear composite spring. I'm going to go with the 330#. Corvette central has them for $339 (https://www.corvettecentral.com/c3-6...ings%2f1981%2f) and VB&P has them for $399 (https://www.vbandp.com/c3-corvette-p...82-detail.html). Any reason for the big price difference? It looks like the same mounting stuff is included in both kits. If the VB&P spring is a better unit then I have no problem going with that one, of if it's made in the USA.

thanks

The CC one looks to be the TRW spring. Many people seem to end up with the car sitting too high by and inch or even two.
I've run the same (except 360#) for over 15 years without an issue but it does sit a little higher than I'd like

I would go with VBP (that's what I have). No problems and they make theirs here in the USA. The CC one looks like the TRW manufactured one that everyone has trouble with......ride height way too high.

Have VBP 330 on my 70 Autocross car.
Also lowered as it sat a bit high for me.

I went with a shortened 330 composite spring from Van Steel.

Vb&p springs have less arch than the others.

VB&P will also do a custom length or spring rate at no extra charge. I got a 400# spring shortened 1/2" on each side from them. Very easy to do, just call them.
