What diameter is the stock C3 heater hose?


Any recommendations on what metal to use? (Aluminum on aluminum is bad, right?)


Should I apply anti-seize?

A 45 degree angle fitting will restrict flow less than a 90 degree, right?

Intake manifold thread size is 1/2 NPT.
The heater hose size is 5/8.
Many of us use an AL manifold and the original steel fitting.
It's also okay to run AL manifold and AL fittings, see picture below. That might also answer your question about bends in fittings. T

heater hose depending on year is two sizes for supply and return 5/8" and 3/4".
