Default MSD Blaster 2 coil

I was given a used MSD Blaster 2 (PN 8202)coil (thrown in with a distributor purchase)...
Is there a way to bench test the coil to confirm it is good before I get to the installation only to find out I have to make a parts run?

As I recall, I got the ohm specs from the MSD website and checked with an ohm meter. Pretty straight forward.

Try this:

Mount it vertically. They like to leak. They also like to fail. I have a box of them here.
