Default Caster

My 73 has Van Steel tubular a arms and Borgenson steering box How much caster do you guys run with the Borgenson box? Car seem light in the front end.It was aligned with 7 degrees caster.Thanks Charlie.

I would look at reducing the power steering pump flow. 7 Degrees is plenty for the setup.

I have a R&P in my 78 and added this.

While I believe it is still to light of steering (compared to my 2010 C6 GS), Many companies make these, all you need to find is the correct setup for the hoses. Mine required AN6 fittings, but you can get them for the factory PS hose setup. I believe the default C3 PS flow is 2 GPM and could be as high as 3 (rebuilt PS pump using the wrong setup for the corvette).

Thanks for info. I was thinking the same thing.I have a LS1 and I was told that Borgenson has a kit to fix this. Thanks Charlie.

Borgenson kit / shim kit may not work. I went with a flow restrictor option.

I had the same problem after changing from the original setup to borgeson steering box i got a light steering. I bought Heidts power steering adjustable valve
and now i can add weight to the steering ...
Its helped allot still not where i want it to be but im now with only 2.3 ' caster...
