Well, the OP specifically asked about the Cragar S/S Super Sport Chrome Wheels and you can't get them in anything bigger than 15". You're pointing out G/T wheels which aren't S/S Super Sport wheels. Very similar, but not the same.

Have you seen the G/T Vintage wheels?.....they are the aluminum version of the SS Super Sport Chromes. The 15"s look the same (not similar, the same). I've had both types. The only difference is steel vs. aluminum. The larger ones, however are styled slightly different.

What's the big deal? The OP specifically asked about the Cragar S/S Super Sport Chrome Wheels. You can't get those specific wheels in anything bigger than 15", doesn't matter what you post about it.

Wasn't questioning about the 17 or 18s, just giving info that 15s are available in the chrome SS style in weight saving aluminum, if he wants to consider them. Must you argue about everything? Sheesh...

If that was "just" what you were doing then why the need to quote my post? It had nothing to do with what you were "just" doing. Sheesh right back at you.

The cragars are just about as popular and timeless as a L88 scoop,
They look great on damn near any car you can mount them on. They are an old school chrome wheel that to me screams "custom"
As mentioned, they are part steel and a bit heavy.

Torq are also pretty darn timeless too and being a boab i would likely run them as i want not so much a day two custom look but im doing road race theme and torqs were on a hell of a lot of track vettes in the day,

But now they seem kind of overdone and everywhere in an insists upon themselves sort of way,

I cant afford mini lites, perhaps clones. But for now i fell back on ansen slots, not the best looking vette wheel, perhaps more of a camaro wheel, but not so overdone...

I have 200s on my 77 L-48. They are what sold me on the car . Call me old fashioned. I put American slotted dish rims on my 71 Runner and they made the car.

Nothing personal......your quote just mentioned some info I wanted to elaborate on for the OP. Maybe I should have just offered it without using your quote?.....No harm, no foul.

I'm running 17" Aluminum Cragars - look like the old SS style, except all aluminum - They don't have the s/s logo on the center caps either - but the same overall look updated to a larger wheel.

I seldom like new school larger diameter wheels on the classic c3 but those look really sweet!
