75 radiator 4core brass or 3core aluminum?
Got a 75 with a 400sbc,vortec heads, normal cam.
I bought electric 16 cooling fan 3k cfm
When installing I punctured a tube in my original 4 core 2.5 brass radiator, So...
Which is better??
4-core brass
3-core aluminum
I need the best$$ deal
Im deep into other $ on the vette, my house needs a roof
Dont even mention Dewitts or expensive radiators
I need a good bang for my buck,
Fix mine or buy new?

More and more guys are going for most bang for the buck with radiators,
You cant beat the price of the champion aluminum unit,
And much feedback on this forum reports it cools as well as more expensive units at a lower cost....
The down side, now and then i read a person had to tweek this or trim that rubber mount cushion to get the fit right,
Then again ive read that about the expensive ones too

I had the original brass one redone so it could be repaired
Good luck

Melting Slicks
I've used the Champion radiators a couple times now. Worked really well. The fit is not as nice as DeWitts, but that can be worked around.
Brass is heavy. Weight is the enemy of performance, so I go light wherever I can.

Big Block manual.
You can always call and check- tell them you're a forum member...
I have a mounted once Champion never any water- fits a Big block 69-72 manual/auto
$100 shipped- will come in a Dewitts box (that's worth $50!)
