It's in the rear harness, behind the left rear wheel well. I found it while trying to run down the reason my right brake/ turn lights don't work. There's an orange wire that appears to have corroded and come out of this plug. I don't think that's my problem, but I don't know what this plug is for...

Is this inside of the rear cargo area behind the left wheel? If it is I think it is the sequencing module connector for the seat belt ignition interlock. When I took out the original harness in my 75 I had a plug back there with nothing attached to it.

Yessir, that's where it is. If that's what it is, I suppose I can unplug it? The seatbelt interlock doesn't work anyway......

Ok, I've found pictures online that seem to confirm that the item in question is a "seat belt logic module"..... Could this be the source of a battery drain, and can I unplug it with no ill effects? I don't think it functions, no problems starting w/o seat belt fastened.
