Default 1969 Big Block Water Pump

HI All,

I am looking to replacement my water pump which is leaking from the tell-tale and about to purchase a new one. I have noticed that my current water pump and a previously used water pump that came with the car has a hub with 4 stud holes (see pictures)

When I am looking at a replacement water pump, the hub has 8 holes. Will the pulley and fan still mount up correctly as the hub is different?

The current installed water pump is stamped 8982-1 and appears to be an aftermarket one. My old one appears to be an aftermarket one also as I can't match the numbers.

See below for pictures.

Thanks.

It will work, just determine which 4 holes line up with the holes in the pulley. It looks to me that the set of holes closest to the outside should be the ones.
