Is your current antenna broken or missing? If it's broken, you can likely source a rebuild kit for the motor. The cable inside snaps.
I got my rebuild kit from antennamastsrus (do a web search). They stock rebuild kits for CB and non-CB antennas.

My antenna was replaced with the wrong one. I need to do a full replacement. The one on my car now doesn’t have the connection for the CB. I’ve found one but Caddlic Jack wants $700 for it. I can get one for for a 79 Caddy for $350, but I don’t know if it will work on my Vette.
