Waterproofing wiper galley on a 69
It has come time to put together the windshield wiper system and movable
cover on my 69.
Before body and paint work I scraped all the thick tar like stuff off.
What do I need to do now?
Do I need to put it back on that thick?
Can I spray it will bed liner?
Any areas i need to be particularly mindful of?

You do not want to seal-off the wiper well drain holes (on either side of the well). If you did, the well would just fill up with water. It is supposed to drain off through those holes and out the bottom of the body. You also need to keep those drain holes cleared.

I used 3M automotive undercoating from the rattle can.
