Wiper door stop.
After some research, I think I’m missing an “up stop”
Does anyone have pics of what this “up stop” is supposed to look like ?

The stops look basically like a small hockey puck with hole in the center for screw to attach them to the underside of the wiper door. I've got none on my door, read in an earlier post that they only create more problems with the proper alignment of the hood, grille and door. So when your door closes, the front edge of it scrapes the back edge of the grille? How is the gap between the door - grille - hood? Is there room to move the grille forward a bit and still maintain a good gap measure? No picture of stop but picture of underside of door and stop locations:

You can change how far the door rises by adjusting the turnbuckle from the actuator to door under the accordion boot. The down position is controlled by the lip on the grill and the two stop screws on the sides but the up really fell to the actuator running out of travel, I guess that's why they stopped with the pads

Door travel is adjusted using the adjuster rod on the actuator. If you look closely at where the two "stop" pads are located you will see there is nothing underneath their position except the wiper arms. They were installed at the high point on the wiper arm/blade to keep the arms from scuffing or rattling on the underside of the wiper door when closed if the arms were a bit too high. Corvette Central stocks the rubber pads. See link below. My late build 69 (Oct. 24) had no indication of anything installed there as there had never been screws (thread marks) in the cast holes.https://www.corvettecentral.com/c3-6...b%26count%3d18
