Default Eliminating A/C compressor on LT1 in C3...Belt?

Have a '95 LT1 from a C4 in my '76 and was wondering if there is anything I can do to allow me to drive it w/o A/C compressor in place. It looks like a nightmare to perform an alignment, so wanted to run w/o it while I perform the alignment and take some test drives.

From the belt routing, a shorter belt isn't an option and seems like there weren't any C4's w/o factory A/C....

Thanks!

Default

I have a serp drive from a '88-92? L98 injection system still on my '72, never an issue with alignment....owned since '95.......I also have a LT1 induction with an HEI up top in back where GOD intended since electric and water don't mix.....

I assume the compressor layout is damn close/similar, so should not be an issue....
