Has anyone used these tires? I found the 315 35 17 size for $493 for the set. Just wondering if anyone has experience with them and if they’re actually 12.6” wide.

315/25.4=12.4"
That's probably the section width or maximum width. Actual tread width is slightly less.

+1. Check thread width against sidewall width. Tires look goofy if the tread width is a lot less than sidewall width.

Thanks for the replies. I don't see anything online that indicates tread width, every site I come across just states 12.6 for overall width and 25.6-25.7 for overall diameter. I know the sumitomo for example are really narrow for a 315 so I dont want to end up with a tire like that.

Have you got 17" rims already? If not, you may want to go with 18" rims. A lot more tire choices with 18".

No I haven't bought rims yet. I like the V48 but the biggest it comes in is 17x11.
