The exhaust manifold looks correct, but the AIR injector tubes have been cut off and the holes welded shut. Pretty standard for a "de-smoged" car.
vacuum lines look like a bit of a dog's breakfast as well (though you didn't ask)
Yeah, the engine/carb looks pretty chewing gum/bailing wire overall but it does run pretty well. The thing this particular car has going for it is the frame is really intact. No sign of rust at all that I could detect.
