I recently installed a holley sniper on my 77.
The tank modification was more time consuming than I anticipated.
I ended up dropping the tank twice but finished
with a home made sump in the tank to avoid sloshing issues. I would have considered a fully set up
tank but nobody makes one for 77’s. Looking back
I would think a different year tank would fit but the lines would come out in different locations requiring adapter lines.

easily. Gonna take me a few days to finish. Have to fabricate throttle linkage, change all vacuum port locations, and set up fuel. I’ll post pics as I do each part through the weekend. I will have to order some pre formed hose parts to make intake as it’s a 4.5” intake to throttle body. I think if i 90 degree hose to passenger, I can throw a large filter in there.

I love the Edelbrock gaskets that come with the kit, however they make no provision for the exhaust crossover ports that will surely burn through in short time. So I ordered the mr gaskets units to get the plates.
Plates will be installed with the Edelbrock gaskets
Stock l82 motor. Expecting more power, but more importantly expecting all the issues like fuel mixtures, cold starts, etc to be gone. I expect a 76 to run like a modern LS motor. No reason it won’t.

The EFI intake has no crossover passage so the Edelbrock gaskets will work fine. Won't burn through when there's no airflow. I have a Holley EFI intake without crossover and no problems for many years.
