Default LS3 Swap - Engine Mounts/Clearance

New member to the forum, patience. Just ordered an LS3 engine for my 72 vette. I am looking for recommendations on engine mounts, serpentine belt systems & engine clearances. I'm sure there are threads directly related to this. Can someone direct me to some related threads.

Thanks!

Search LS swaps. Tons of info out there. Great choice of swap engines.

Here is mine. Little older but a lot is still useable. Any questions let me know.

You might want to latch onto ScottEwine's threads. He appears to be well into it. There is an older thread here https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-their-c3.html. Also search out the ls1tech.com forum. Not specific to corvettes but another resource.

Vintage Air makes the accessory drive setup complete. The ps reservoir is made by Chase bay.

What about your oil pan? Did you have to change to a different style?

Stock C6 pan. I cannot say for sure if stock C3 power steering components will work, as I changed to Borgenson steering box.
