Is it smarter to fix and repaint or buy a new hood? Is there a color or hood that will blend with any paint? The LT-1 and the L-88 Look good, though I am sure there is no performance benefit.
Any info or idea's are Appreciated.

It's usually better to keep what you have if it's an original hood. Post pics.

You will have to repaint a new hood anyhow.
I suppose you could find a used hood of the same color, but that is going to be tough and it will probably need painting as well.
Just paint what you have.

There is a cooling benefit to an LT-1 or L88 hood, but only if you cut the holes to let the heated air from the radiator pass through the front of the hood (C7s do this, too). Otherwise, the peformance benefit is to allow you put a taller intake on the engine, which may give you more HP at high RPMs, assuming the rest of your engine is tuned for it.
But you'd lose the view in the process, so it probably isn't worth it.
