Is that a station wagon conversion? You have to show us more pictures now.

I'd be more concerned about not having a manual transmission. The interior looks clean, but why the dash pad?

The dash has some deterioration. Not a deal breaker.

From what I'm reading that 700R4 trans isn't ideal for high hp/torque applications. Seems the 4L80E is better.

A well built 700r4 will take what you throw at it.......especially if you are not running slicks.
4L80E is a great unit but has to have a computer to run it.....hence the "E" in the name.
99% of people who comment about how bad the 700r4 is have never had their TV cable adjusted properly......and for this particular trans....it is EVERYTHING.

My 700R4 is rated at 725hp no problems in over 20k miles.

Hypereutectic cast aluminum pistons and blowers don’t mix in my book. Neither do 58cc combustion chambers and blowers.
Id run.

Who rated it? Is there a procedure to rate a trans for a particular level of horsepower/torque?

One problem is I don't know how competent the shop that did it is or exactly what they did to it. The guy who's selling the Vette says it's supposed to be built for 700 hp, I don't know how he/they arrived at that.

What pieces should a blower motor have?

Pistons, connecting rods and crankshaft should all be forged pieces. I'm under the impression that GM used powdered metal connecting rods for awhile. I don't know if they were in the ZZ4 or not.

I always wonder where trans builder get their HP rating from? 700hp on the street with street tires is nothing like 700hp on the track with slicks.......just as 700hp with slicks on the track @ 3500 lbs. is nothing like 700hp at the track with slicks @ 2500 lbs.
As long as it is a sound build and the TV cable is adjusted right.....it should work well for you assuming a nice big cooler.

The correct timing curve under boost would be my biggest concern.

This is what I consistently find as common wisdom.

It's just aggravating because this car is so straight otherwise and it does run great, if only it weren't a problematic build. I don't know if he cobbled these pieces together out of ignorance because he didn't do enough research or if in his opinion he decided this particular blower isn't potent enough to be a problem.

Did you ever answer?

Does this car have a "station wagon" body conversion?

That's not the car you have been posting photos of. The one you started with was in grey primer with black/blue interior.

Here's a few that show the engine bay and interior. There's also a front-facing scoop-type air intake, whatever the official name for those are.
