Header Side Pipes

Header Side Pipes
Just got the old "under car" headers removed from my 71 Stingray last nite & was curious about the starter & dipstick tube. Seemed impossible to remove both, but I finally won that battle. How hard is it going to be to re-install these (2) items after side pipe header assembly is installed. They take up much more room than the old headers. Just wanting an idea of what I'm up against. Thanks in Advance for the replies & info.

i never had to remove the starter for side pipe header install. The dipstick tube is easily accessed. Probably on third set since 1973.

You are already through the hardest part. That is getting the old system out. I found putting the new side pipes in was a piece of cake (provided you have enough ground clearance for the header install). Shouldn't matter if the starter in installed or not.
