Default Where to get air bleeds?

I need 0,080 and bigger, but summit and jegs sells them only up to 0,078. Any ideas?

Get the largest size and drill them out a few thousandths at a time until you get where you want to be.

I'm sorry. Air bleeds for adjusting the carb. One futher qestion: they are offered as a set of 10 pieces. Why 10, you only need 4?

You can get a set of torch cleaning drill bits....you can use them to drill. Lots of tiny bits. If you go too big...you can epoxy it and start over. Or you can order blank non-drilled ones and do what you want.

I can get these for you and ship them to you, but my question is how did you determine that you needed a certain size air bleed? That is something that I leave to the experts. Locally I had my carb done on a test mule dyno motor that had 8 temp probes on each exhaust primary. We installed my carb and intake on the motor and ran it to dial in the air bleeds and jetting.

One thing I learned is when you increase the air bleeds and really emulsify the fuel and you end up changing the fuel jets to compensate.

George,
I´m in process of tuning the new AED carb. Got an oxigen Sensor to check A/F ratio and jetting is almost done. Now I have to fine tune it. I´m in contact with Lars and the tech support of AED. Thank you for the offer of shipment but I think, I will drill them because I have access to a lathe and verry small drills. And thank you for the verry helpful links also!

Best regards, Günther

Very impressive Gunther, I love the mixture of pure restoration (tower hose clamps, Ign. shield) and then AED pieces, cool! I think maybe more impressive is a European car owner working on Air Bleed tuning (not for the faint of heart, but not impossible)
I don't mean to offend, but most of the European folks (not counting the many Vette Forum folks) I meet through my Job would never think about doing something like that. (I'm a Field Service Engineer, so I meet some pretty hands on folks).

Hello!
You are right. Many of them just buy a carb (most of the time too big), put it on the engine and don´t care about tuning the stuff. And then they complain, it´s not running good, stumble, hesitations and poor gas milage and so on.

I personally order brass set screws from McMaster and drill my own. https://www.mcmaster.com/set-screws
