You can get a set of torch cleaning drill bits....you can use them to drill. Lots of tiny bits. If you go too big...you can epoxy it and start over. Or you can order blank non-drilled ones and do what you want.

One thing I learned is when you increase the air bleeds and really emulsify the fuel and you end up changing the fuel jets to compensate.

George,
I´m in process of tuning the new AED carb. Got an oxigen Sensor to check A/F ratio and jetting is almost done. Now I have to fine tune it. I´m in contact with Lars and the tech support of AED. Thank you for the offer of shipment but I think, I will drill them because I have access to a lathe and verry small drills. And thank you for the verry helpful links also!
Best regards, Günther

Very impressive Gunther, I love the mixture of pure restoration (tower hose clamps, Ign. shield) and then AED pieces, cool! I think maybe more impressive is a European car owner working on Air Bleed tuning (not for the faint of heart, but not impossible)
I don't mean to offend, but most of the European folks (not counting the many Vette Forum folks) I meet through my Job would never think about doing something like that. (I'm a Field Service Engineer, so I meet some pretty hands on folks).

Hello!
You are right. Many of them just buy a carb (most of the time too big), put it on the engine and don´t care about tuning the stuff. And then they complain, it´s not running good, stumble, hesitations and poor gas milage and so on.
