Yep two TBs similar to your setup. That was the 350 with bolt-ons computer tuning and 3.73 gears, went to the high nickel 4.09 gears when I did the 355 build. The 355 is listed in my profile, it ran high 11's without the gas and if I had got a full pass with the NOS, it would have run mid to high 10's. During the first full pass with the NOS I ran out of fuel for the NOS and cooked a few pistons. Car is sitting waiting for the new engine. Last year I had a 427SB built but had the shop broken into and among the things they took was the 427SB. Currently building another one. I also run a 9" M&H drag slick if that helps. I really thought your car was faster than what you have posted. I do admit my car is not street friendly but drivable.

Nope, mid 12s right now. I know Ben is running 12.20s with a 383 so I guess we are doing something REALLY wrong if you are running 11s with a 355 motor NA. If I were to go to a bottle which I will never do, I could run 10s, but what's the point? Mine are 2.13 TBs and Ben's are 2.20, so again, we must be doing something wrong with a 383 motor. What ECM are you using and trans? I don't run slicks, just DR MT ET Street Rs. which hook pretty good. There was a guy with a bone stock 84 with a 125 shot and ran 11.70s. I just find it hard to believe you are running 11s on a 355 all motor, but whatever. Where in TX are you? Oh and mine is 100% street-able.

If I was to compare your car to mine I would say your car is a mild street strip car where my car has crossed into being more strip than street. I have to run VPc14 fuel now, no pump gas for me. I have stripped the fat girl down and made her into a skinny girl. Roll cage coming soon. The computer started out as a 4474 but it is not even close to that anymore, I think the case is the only part still a 4474. My computer guru works at NASA in Houston and can make anything electronic. I can tune from a laptop and data log with HP software. I’ll admit I adapted the intake and fuel system from your car, it is a good working setup. I am running a TCI 700R4 manual valve body and 3500 TCI converter. I may have to go to a 4 injector system (Two 2 injector TBs) for the 427. Been crunching numbers and the two singles may not be big enough for the 427. I have a BBC TB that I am getting 670 on the flow bench so if need be I can work two of them some and end up with enough fuel and air.

This is the 427 parts list so far: Dart SHP 4.125 block, RHS 220 heads, Venolia aluminum rods and forged pistons, Scat 4.0 crankshaft, Crower solid roller cam, Offenhauser 360 intake
