1980 Will not UNlock
Good morning!!!!!!!!!!! Just got my 1980 last night. Power locks did not work, manualy locked the car from the inside. This morning it will not unlock!!!!!!!!!! What do I do????

Search the Forum (use Google if you have to). There are several threads on this. I think the most likely is to release the T-Top with a coat hanger or a stick (or banging on the top) but I haven't tried it myself.
In the future, you can't lock yourself out of the Vette if the windows are down and the T-Tops are off. This works for returning rental cars, too.

Thank you - we figured that out and it worked like a charm. The car has never been locked (other owner). I am from Buffalo NY and we always locked everything or it got stolen lol.
Had a 2002 and this is my first classic = wow
Rebuilt 350 - cant wait till Tuesday to register it
