Default Snubber mount bracket on Crossmember

Anyone have any ideas how this can be straightened? I tried a C - clamp, no good.

Remove tail shaft to get more room above

Oxy heat area affected.

I have seen those break, you might be better off cutting it off and welding on a new one. If it's solid you can work it but if there is rust on it I would go with a new bracket.

Before

After
Spent about 30 minutes with a 6" 5/16 punch and an air chisel hammer bit, along with a 3lb. drilling hammer. I'm going to call it a winner.
