Wher are you guys putting your auxiliary fuse blocks and circuit breakers in your C3 Vets? I have a 72 and space is premium - where is yours?
I run add on accessories such as fans and electric fuel pump on a second fuse block. Mine is in the engine compartment under the steering column. I have pics but not too clear.

Your primary objective would be to pick a location where you will have good access....for the installation process AND for fuse/relay replacement in the future.
I do my aux fuse blocks relays like you would a subpanel in your home. Put it were you need the power and have the ability to access it when needed.
I'm a big fan of the 280 series fuseblock/relays by Little fuse-
This one is mounted upfront above where the actuator for the headlight was- great place since you are adding electric headlights. It'll fit two SPDT relays or three SPST relays plus fuses. I've got one on each side- relays for the high/low headlights- electric headlight motors-horns-
And waterproof and really easy to access.- these things can fit just about anywhere and are totally configurable-use delphi connectors- everything is easily sourceable.
Another great place is in the storage compartment- I've got one there controlling the fuel pump- reverse lights-power door locks and power windows
I have the same marine fuse panel as @Street Rat, mounted with some relays on the vent/heater fan duct. Lots of room there after the AC delete. I have a 100 Amp fuse at the alternator and a thick cable (4 AWG) that runs to the fuse panel for the individual circuits.
And once again @Richard454 's solution makes everyone else look like an amateur playing around in their garage.

Hey Mitch-
just google "gm delphi weatherpack crimper tool" they are from $20 to well over $200
For the inside of the car- these are a little bigger - the other thing I like is you can find the LED fuse that lights when it's blown- SAVES a ton of time troubleshooting!!!
Replaced my fusebox with three of them-AND move it so I can actually get to it!!!
And the old craftsman box- is now a subpanel for the rear of my car- mounted in the storage compartment
If you want to really make the next troubleshooting be a breeze- I recommend the $80 I spent on a DYMO labeler- Rhino 4200- prints on HEAT SHRINK!!!
Thanks so much. My health has been in the tank and I haven't been able to touch my Vette. Pancreatitis is horrible! To die would almost be a relief at this point. Your advice has been wonderful and very much appreciated. I want to use the 280's and I'm trying to get my best deal. If you have suggestions please offer me a link. I'm gearing up for my last HooRah...If it goes the way I'm planning, I will get my electrical including my headlight actuators from Richard completed. Thanks so much in advance for any help you might be able to offer.
