I second adding the flex agent. You can add it at a reduced mix to get the shine to match the body. Talk to the paint supplier about a recommended ratio below full strength. Also, loosen the front and rear covers to get to the edges of the body and the covers.
What? If you added flex you would use the same mix of paint and when it dries you would wet sand it and buff it like the rest of the car.
