Default 1972 Factory looking side pipes

I'm considering adding a set of factory looking side pipes to my 72 SBC. Any recommendations?

There's only one mfg of factory sidepipes/covers.
Many vendors sell them.
Simply pick the one with the lowest price.

The covers are the same but the exhaust system underneath is where the fun is. Yo can get stock systems from the suppliers and bigger higher flowing stainless ones from High Flo Exhaust that was sweet thunder.

FWIW, I went with Allen's "mid-year chambers" on my '69 BB. They're 2-1/4" which is about as big as will fit under factory covers.

They look nice. But I never caught the fascination with adding some expensive parts to my car that actually reduced the engine's power potential...

For me no "fascination" involved but rather a desire to restore the original appearance of the car. The chambers were the least restrictive pipes I could find at the time that would fit under the factory covers. Building or modifying a car for maximum performance is a completely different undertaking.

It was 'original' on only 1969 cars. No other C3 came from the factory with them installed.
