Do yourself a favor and get a Holley rebuild kit. The float valves in some of these kit have a different thread pitch and can mess up your float bowls for good

Soak the metal parts in the Chem-Dip. Work them with the toothbrush and/or the paint brush. Rinse them off in the Chem-Dip, then follow up with a dip/rinse in very hot water. Take the parts out and let them air dry.
And use the Chem-Dip in a well-ventilated area. Seriously. Even then you'll be smelling the stuff in your garage, clothes and hair for a while after you're done. :yesnod:
