What fuel pump pressure needed?
What psi should the fuel pump be for a holley 750 double pumper? Mechanic says my holley 7 psi fuel pump is to high and it should be about 4 psi. I just want to get another opinion.

7 pounds should be ok. The needle and seat in a Holley with support up to 9 pounds. If you have a high performance engine you will starve it with 4 pounds.

The engine bottom end is otherwise stock '81 350, soon to be rebuilt but probably with stock parts. Top end and cam is all high performance (Edelbrock RPM intake).
My driving is just in town type, occasional spirited runs on open roads.
Would a regulator be a good idea?
