Drilled out the rivets holding my front rotors to the hubs today. To my knowledge, these were my '71s original rotors. Actually was easier than I thought it'd be. Anyway, after I was done, I noticed this on only ONE rotor:
RF rotor had these two holes in it, but the LF was solid all the way around.
Has anyone else seen this before and what the heck is it for (some sort of factory balancing?)?

I wonder if someone tried using it on the rear and the holes were drilled for access to the star-wheel parking brake adjuster...
