Hey everyone! I'm looking for a some advice on the best all around intake for my 350 H.O. I was replacing the coolant temp sensor for my Sniper system this weekend and noticed that the manifold had cracked right where the sensor was located. It's leaking coolant, so it will have to be replaced. The engine currently has a Performer RPM on it and I am now wondering if there is a better choice for my setup. The car is a cruiser so I'm looking for the best mix of drivability and power.
If I were running a carburetor I think I would probably end up with another dual-plane intake, but what is throwing me for a loop is the Sniper. The seems to be a mix of opinions on running a single vs. a dual-plane with fuel injection and I'm interested to hear everyone's thoughts.
Specs on the engine and trans are:
350 HO, 9:1 compression, 62cc Iron Vortec Heads Holley Sniper 212° intake, 222° exhaust / 435" intake, .460" exhaust M-22 trans with 3.73's in the rear
Running a dual plane intake with FI is simply not necessary......the ONLY reason a dual plane exists is for better carburetor signal.....the intake tricks the carb by thinking the engine is two four cylinders and not one V8. There is no vacuum signal needed on FI so why bother with a dual plane?
Another issue with a dual plane on a Sniper is the two sides have different distribution for obvious reasons but only one side is telling the MAP what to do.........
I myself have put a Sniper on a dual plane 355 Blueprint crate engine and it was fine......but this was a 5000 lb. K5 Blazer......
If I do FI here for someone in the garage....a single plane is what it gets. That said....it is hard to beat the 7530 Weiand Team G for flow in a low/medium rise manifold.......
Thanks Jebby! I'll focus in on single plane manifolds. That Weiand looks like a good deal but It looks like it wont fit my heads. Do you have any recommendations for Vortec heads?

The Victor Jr. Vortec will work very well........and I personally like this one:
