82 crossfire idle
except at idle when it is cold, it idles rough and the exhaust is very rich
with gas. Once it warms up it is fine. I checked the resistance of the temp.
sensor both hot and cold and it was in spec. I was on the alldata web site for
this car and they said chevy had released a new prom to lean the fuel
calibration during cold operation and unlock the torque converter at lower
throttle opening in sept. of 82. Any help would be greatly appreciated !
Thank You and I hope everyone has a Happy Holiday!

TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS
A new PROM has been released for the 1982 Corvette to reduce the possibility of spark plug fouling and to enhance driveability. This new PROM leans the fuel calibration during cold engine operation and unlocks the torque converter at a lower throttle opening.
NEW ECM 16029531

In addition, check spark plugs for fuel fouling and replace if necessary. Use care when removing spark plug wire boots from spark plugs. Twist the boot one-half turn before removing, and pull on the boot only to remove the wire. Check to make sure plug wires are routed correctly and through the proper retainers.
Use applicable labor operations.
