Default [Please Read} The BEST part about this forum....

The 'Pay It Forward' thread in C5 http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=443910 had me thinking about how great this forum is. The best part about this is the exchange I have had of parts, FREE of charge with my friends in here and C2.

In the past 3 years, I have traded/given away/ received a whole host of parts free of charge. All this with previously complete strangers! What a community!

Here is a short list of what I can remember:

1972 spec 454 LS5 engine
1969 repro sidepipes and covers
Holley 650
Crane 272
C3 floor mats
1978 3.55 rear end
complete AC unit
air cleaner assembly
a steering wheel

I'd like top thank all of you guys for being so generous and trusting and also to thank you all for future generosity!!!

Damn you! I gave away a set of 882s in October after burned a hole in my garage for 2 years. Sorry. :(

BTW, I'd take the pics anytime in good faith...... ;)

I would be willing to give away some free advice:

No disrespect SuperFast80, but it was probably a really good idea that you gave those 882's away. I have heard nothing but bad about them. I've even heard that they are better boat anchors than performance parts. Just my .02, I've been known to be wrong before. :flag
