Eckler's, part number A5300 $49.99. I just happened to see it in the catalog after reading this thread this morning.

Hi
My 68 big block has a long L88 hood.
I will return to short style hood and reinstall the wiper door.
This is a unique feature of the eraly chrome bumper C3 and I want it back.
Dave, I'm still missing the fender moldings, both sides, all the rest I have.
Would you offer those to me ?
Anyway, here some pics.

Thanks for the part number David. I looked it up on line and there is no way I'm going to build one when I can buy that for $49. :)
Gunther, If I do, I'll give you first dibs on the fender moldings.
I'm leaning more toward just buying a new (long) hood. From the pictures and what I can tell from the catalog, the hood is also flared up at the back edge so the process I described above would not work without lots of modifications. Thanks for the input guys. :yesnod:
