Went for a drive and saw Merlin!
The weather was nice today so I added the insurance back on and went for a drive. Not really knowing where I was going, I ended up at Pacific Corvette. After talking shop for a while we went to the garage and before my very eyes sat the infamous Merlin in all its splendor. My jaw dropped and I just stared. I muttered something unintelligible and stared some more. You absolutely have to see this car to believe it. From the pictures I thought it looked pretty cool, but too wild. In person, it really doesn't look that crazy. It is a beautiful car, practically perfect in every detail.
Steve, I don't even know if you come around here anymore, but you have a beautiful car. I am glad I finally got to see it in person.
I jumped back in my car and grinned all the way home.

Did you know it was there or did you just go to Pacific Corvette and it happened to be in the garage? If you didn't know it must have that much sweeter :yesnod: :thumbs:

Wow, I wish I could see it in person. I'm beginning to think that someone has kidnapped Steve. I hope he's not taking any of this negative crap from the LS1 forum or anywhere else to heart. I wonder if he has any idea how much we are all in love with that car. I would definitely give up a nut and my kidney for that car. I'm sure many people here would give that just see/ride in that beauty.
