Do TCI 4L60E automatic transmissions have an ( overfill valve release mechanism ) to release the extra transmission fluid if too much transmission fluid was added?
If so, can you show a Pic? Thanks!
Suction gun is great , if you don't want to wait for one put your big drain pan under the trans , loosen the pan bolts on one side three turns and the other side 1 turn and let it drain out a minute , re tighten pan , wipe off and recheck fluid
When you’re over full you are submerging the dip stick o-ring , selector shaft seal and electrical connector which are items not normally submerged which might induce leaks you normally wouldn’t have plus the planetary gears will induce foaming .if it’s just slightly over full that’s different

and the dip stick o-ring is not a true o-ring. and dip stick tubes are usually deformed and don't seal well. maybe splurge on a new one and seal it well and make sure top of tube is not flopping around.
I bought the hand pump siphon kit as recommend by BlackBlack08 on post #3 and ready to use.
Next Question: Is anyone using Lokar Flexible Transmission DipsticK? Just wondering how accurate they are in Transmission Fluid measurement ???
I've used Lokar flex trans dip sticks on a number of LS swaps. Both the type that attach to the bell housing bolt and the longer one that attaches to the fire wall with sheet metal screws.
When I use them I put some gasket sealer around the o-ring where it goes in the trans. Never had a leak.
My 98 Wrangler LS6/4L60E has 14 years on it with no issues. See pic its the longer Lokar version.
