Default Body lift harness

Can anyone that has a body lift harness measure the width and length of the straps for me?

Too bad I'm living abroad right now, because I can't give you the exact measurements. I used 4 point harness and the straps were 2" wide.
Hope some one here can tell you the exact lenght.

Here's how mine looked:

The straps that I got from Eckler's are approx. 8 ft. long and 2" wide.

I lifted with four independent straps to my garage ceiling (joists).
They were the cheap 2"x20 ft tie downs at Harbor Freight ($4.50 each on sale).

I can get more detailed pic - might be a few on the website: NHvette.com

I'm planning on going the route you went, I can get those straps here for about $10 each. I am going to try and make a harness similar to those that are sold.

Be careful going the cheap route. I'd hate to see what a shark body looks like after it falls and hits the floor. :bb
