I've broken through the HTML/ host site puzzle! Let me know what you think of my project. I bet I've got everyone beat for time. 6 years this april, hoping for paint by Memorial day. WOOO HOOO!
Looks like it'll be quite nice when finished :yesnod: . 6years is a looooong time, but should pay off when you see all the heads turning as you go for a drive :D .
Dave, Thanks for offering to host. I'm in the process of trying to find a host for a permanent web site, because I think boomspeed may boot me off when they find out the forum is not an auction. I hear they're picky. I have loads more to post when I find a site. This cars been apart so long it may go into daylight withdrawl when it's don, kinda like a vampire!!!
Very cool and nice looking detail work in the engine compartment. Looks like you spent a lot of time sanding every nook and cranny. That's the kinda sh-t that gets me excited.
You have me beat by 2 years. I have spent 4 years on mine. Hope to complete this summer and have it on the road. I have never even drive a corvette. Had mine towed to the house when I purchased it. Have a ton of pictures and when completed I plan on a long presentation to the forum. Front end installation from that angle looks good.
Actually the front end isn't even bonded in that picture. I'm still in the dry fit. But thanks to all the help from people on this forum, I may be bonding this weekend or next. It's a big step, and I'm kind of an insane perfectionist (thus the 6 years!) but I think it's almost ready.
