What size (or number) is the primary q-jet rods/jets for the '79 L82
Does anyone know what is the size or number of the primary carb rods/jets that are used on my Rochester q-jet. The carb number is 17059228 and is correct for my 1979 L-82 350ci engine. From the literature I'm reading, the carb is factory set to lean and I'd like to try a slightly richer set of primaries. I've already modified my secondaries with a slightly richer combo of hanger/metering rods and am very pleased. I'm trying to avoid tearing into the carb to get the primary size unless I really have to. Thanks again for all of your excellent advise to-date.

select "engines"
find the Qjet tuning paper by lars.
At the end of the article he lists carb#s with the info you are seeking.
