Brake pedal
I have a 79 corvette. It just started having a hard brake pedal when first started. Like the power brakes are not working. After it runs for about 15 minutes it is fine, just like normal power brakes. I pulled the vacuum hose off of the booster with the engine running and it has plenty of vacuum. Any ideas what is causing this?

Test the check valve perhaps. If it were a torn diaphragm it wouldn't come good. Test the booster for leaks as well. Will it hold a vacuum?

Is the booster vacuum line dedicated? In other words, a solo line all by itself from base of the carb to the booster?
I have seen some booster lines T-off to other accessories. With that scenario the vacuum varies at the booster causing issues.
