Does anyone have any experience with the Sylvania or Phillips HID conversion systems? (For a C3 or any car, for that matter.) They're about $550 and I'm wondering if they really offer the same lighting quality as factory HID lighting systems.

I don't even know if they make them for Corvettes, but I'm also researching for my inlaws' 2000 Jag S-type (which has the world's dimmest headlights!)
