im stuck at work here in ventnor since yesterday,they wont let me go home till tommorrow night sometime,gotta keep the plows fixed and the trucks running. :sad: lots of double time right now. :D mod money,only had this 2 minutes to stop and go back to work.

I know just how you feel, we have 8" on the ground from previous storms and are supposed to get 8-16" more by tomorrow. All I have is a snow shovel so I HATE :reddevil snow. Our roads are all tore up from the plows and the salt.

Watchung, NJ - brings back memories. Lived in Berkely Heights, NJ from 75 - 78. 1977 was a year with alot of snow. Think BH got 39" that year - average was 13". So, not entirely prepared for that amount. And, I was a yound kid from Houston, Texas who barely knew how to spell "SNOW" much less deal with 39". Memories....

Local news just showed your snowy mess on the East Coast. Guessing everyone should stay home tomorrow... even though the Federal employees have off anyway. Where's that forum member who said it was fun to go do doughnuts in the snow with his Vette? I wanna see that.

I'll have to give a big thanks to the guy who plows my driveway. Between last weeks snow and so far today(he came by for his for past about 7) there is a 6 foot mound of snow in front of my garage. At this rate I won't see my car til April :cry

im still at work since about 700 yesterday and havent slept yet,24+ hours with no sleep,keeping the plows going,its freezing in our shop my feet are cold and wet,and we cant go home till maybe tommorrow now. :mad we have a weather sattelite on the roof and channel 3 ,6,and 10 have been in and out all night getting updates.

Pat I don't envy you. I shoveled 4 times yesterday and it all blew back last night. Looks like the worst snow part is over now the drifting starts.

We ended up with 23" down here in Maryland. It is still snowing but not as much and it's mostly sleet. All that digging I did yesterday will have to be redone since it blew back over it. :cuss Good luck with you up in the north..This is a nasty one..Think I'll go for a drive in my Cobra. :lol:

We had an ice storm yesterday. I made it into work today but no one else is here. I don't have the mind set for being here today because I just got back from a cruise to the Caribbean! At least I can catch up on some work. :smash:
