Default Calling all 1970 vettes

All 1970 corvettes had the Transmission Controlled Spark(TCS) system. It essentially disabled vacuum advance under certain conditions.
As part of that system there is a two-terminal coolant temperature switch on the right head between the two rear spark plugs. (see image)
The two terminals of the switch are tied together with a Green wire which leads to the TCS relay mounted on the firewall.
Some have a direct connection wire between switch and relay, others may have a simple single wire connector in between.

Which does your '70 have and what is your build date?

The green wire is shown here:. The single wire connector is circled

The question is, do you have the connector inline on the green wire as shown in the picture

My build date is 2/11/1970.
My green wire is damaged...spliced. So I can't be certain.
However, from the point where the green wire enters the wiring harness, to the splice is 20 inches.
Whereas, the examples with connectors seem to only have a couple of inches of length at the harness.
So it appears that no connector was present 2/11/1970

Hello,
The engine in your photo is in a mid-January 71 built car.
It's a reproduction harness.
It matched the original harness.

All that stuff was long gone when I bought my 70 in 2001 but I think I found the green wire.
