PICTURES FROM FRIDAY'S ESCONDIDO SHOW
Well I went down there and no one showed but luckily I had my girl with me so wasn't too bad. Here's some pics I took.
Lot of old cars with new powerplants, here's an AC COBRA with mid 90's 5.0
Overall a lot of cars however I had to park a block away and never got to show the Vette.
But if we get some cars together could be a good time.

P.S. Paul you wouldn't have liked it, 80 miles round trip, ate $15.00 gas and a lot of stop and go traffic on the freeway. Heah she never overheated!!

David, you gotta get there earlier, I saw you rpost that you were going up there but that was at 3:30 - which means you didnt get there until 4:30 and all the parking was gone. When my car is back on the road we will go up there earlier - get some good streetside parking and it will be golden.
However I'm sure you believe me now when I say that it makes the La Mesa cruise look like a knitting circle in comparison.
BTW - got the trans hung today - but had to cut the crossmember out - next weekend the crossmember gets welded up and hopefully goes back in - also next weekend I mock up the drivers side side pipes and hopefully get them welded up - Will be ready for the May 3 car club bash at wesloh Chevy.
I hope you can make it to that show, I think your car has a very good chance to make a really good showing there.

Sorry I missed you. I was there early and parked the vette in front of the 150 Cafe. Had to leave early but got a chance to see the '66 BB you have a pic of and the v8 bike.
I work in Escondido and get off work at 1pm on friday's so getting a great spot is no problem. Just wish I didn't have ugly bumper issues.
Let me know when you guys will be up again. Would love to meet some fellow c3'ers.
