Default V-Belt Cross Reference Guide?

The Alt belt just broke on the vette as I drove it to work this morning :mad so now I'm trying to find a similar belt at the Napa, which is closer to me than any other store.

My engine is not orginal, nor are some of the brackets. The factory belt size doesn't work. So, finding a belt that would fit initially was trial and error. The one I was running was bought from Advanced Auto, Drive-Rite part number 53515 (29/64" X 53-.50" V-Belt ).

Yeah, I know, el cheapo. I guess that's why I broke it this morning when I gave a lesson to a Grand-Am :D :reddevil

If anyone could tell me what the Napa part number is, that would really help me out. I don't trust those guys at the part store, and there isn't enough of my belt left to compare to anything. The number is all I have to go on.

Thanks
:seeya

check this out, don't know if it helps. I don't have a Napa one on mine, but the 15560 number is on the one I have and it is the only belt I have that fits right.
