Bought a corvette at Bloomington Gold
My wife & I went to the show to look for a nice driveable midyear. Signed up at the Mecum office no problem :D This is easy.
Looked Thursday & picked up a Sale list of cars to be auctioned off Fri & Sat . Friday they auctioned off 100 cars. There were no cars that we liked that day. But Sat. there were about 6 cars that we had picked out. The one we liked the best Proteam bought. :( the next two just went to high. now ti is getting to be 4:00pm with about 50 cars to go through for bidding. We watched and here comes one of the 6 we liked. All it took was me to raise my hand twice and the car was ours :eek: my wife was in Shocked but Happy.
Now lets go and see how we are going to pay for this. We had no personal check on us so how will we pay? How do you get a loan at 4:00pm Sat. Easy we drove back home 438 miles and returned the next day with a check.
Wish it was that easy! The car has 10,950 miles on it the original tires, every thing just like it was 39 years ago. So we are having it shipped back home . But they told us we will not recieve it till next week.

Sounds like you came away a winner. With all that is going on in Nashville and BG you may have had it a little easier. Congrats on the new car. This would be a great car for me. :yesnod:
