window weatherstrip replacement?
looking for step-by-step on removing and then replacing the side windows frontward and rearward weatherstrips.
I bought a new set and they are just the weatherstrips without any metal pieces attached. I assume the originals are either glued in or screwed in
I looked in the Tech-Tips section and didn't see anything there.

Re: window weatherstrip replacement? (Mike Mercury)
The w/s is glue to the chrome metal pieces, except there is a metal brace in the top of the rubber that is attached with a screw. The chrome pieces are then secured to the window frame with four or five screws.
Since my Corvette is not a daily driver and will not be driven in the rain I did not glue the replacement w/s in. The w/s is molded to fit into the chrome pieces and held b the folded edge of the metal pieces.
Just to sure to align the top of the w/s with the top of the t-top latching bratchet.
